Yoga in the garden, hiking or mountain climbing right around the house, the swimming pool in St. Niklaus and the various tours and trails for mountain bikes should offer something for every sports enthusiast. We offer a storage room for the bicycles and running water for cleaning.

Winter magic on the Nadelgrat
In winter, Grächen offers a ski area with 44 km of pistes from blue to black and is repeatedly awarded as the best family ski area. Being located on the eastern slope, the ski area benefits from guaranteed snow and the golden afternoon sun. So that you don't have to transport your ski equipment to Grächen and back, we have a room right next to the valley station in Grächen where you can leave your equipment.

Attention love!
If you love the mountains, you will surely lose your heart here around our house. The local mountain world is so unique. It is not for nothing that we have guests who have been on holiday with our previous owners since they were children.

What is the Nadelgrat?
According to Wikipedia, the "Nadelgrat" is classically the ridge of the Mischabel chain in the Valais Alps, which descends from the Nadelhorn (4327 metres above sea level) northwestwards to the Galenjoch. From the Nadelhorn follow the Stecknadelhorn (4241 metres), the Hohbärghorn (4219 metres) and the Dirruhorn (4035 metres). Our house has been called Haus Nadelgrat since it was built in 1978. When we were thinking about the names for the flats, Christoph had the nice idea to name the flats after the four peaks of the Nadelgrat. So the flats from the one on the ground floor to the top one in the attic are named after the four peaks of the Nadelgrat, sorted by height. Incidentally, the seating area to the east of the house offers a wonderful view of the Riedgletscher and the Nadelgrat with its four peaks.
